Is there any real PROOF that mediums talk to the dead...or is it all just wishful thinking?

The truth? There is an ABUNDANCE of proof that after life communication is not only possible...that there are MANY gifted mediums who can facilitate this with some degree of ease. Even MORESO than mediums alone, though...there is actually an abundance of evidence that supports the idea that AVERAGE people, with NO psychic skill, can make contact with loved ones who have passed on...without doing anything exceptional whatsoever.

As a matter of fact, near death experiences, out of body experiences, crisis apparitions, (when the spirit of someone JUST deceased appears, impossibly... to another person many miles away) death bed visions, after death communications (called ADC's), past life memories, and of course.....the impressive history of many gifted mediums throughout history, ALL point to the obvious truth that our spiritual selves, or some "part" of our essence, actually leaves the body and survives physical death. When you actually look at the totality of the evidence.it's actually FAR more reasonable to believe that we have a spiritual self that continues on after death...and CAN communicate with those left behind, than it is to believe that EVERY experience above over the course of human history has been a mistake, a lie, or a hallucination.

What do Mediums actually do?

It depends on the medium. For example, famous psychic medium John Edward likens it to having a conversation with someone at the bottom of a pool...or behind a heavy glass door. You can make our much of the sounds, and see shapes and figures, but it's often difficult to understand EXACTLY what is being said, or make out very distinctive physical characteristics. In other cases...the energies come through very clearly, without any trouble, and communicate is a very concise and easy to interpret fashion...and many of these cases are the STRONGEST evidence that life continues on that we have.

Absolutely not! Some mediums are very "tuned in", and others really have to struggle to be

Talking to Spirits - How to Contact Deceased Friends and Relatives From Home

Are you interested in spirit communication? Does the idea of opening a wild, wacky and wonderful window into the world of spiritual beings sound scary... or scintillating and sensational? In my many years of experience with psychic and paranormal research, I can tell you that there are 3 very specific camps that most people fall into.

1. "True Blue" believers
2. Hard core skeptics and cynics
3. The CURIOUS but not convinced

Which one are you?

The truth is, you can get all of the personal proof and afterlife evidence you want, without having to believe anything I say is true, or to take the skeptics at their word, either. The afterlife IS available to be studied by anyone with a sincere interest, and who is willing to go out on a bit of a limb and be adventurous with respect to the unknown.

I want to share with you 4 things you can do to begin to experience the afterlife NOW. These all have worked wonderfully well for me, and have opened me up to an amazing array of experiences over the years that I didn't believe possible. Remember though, just because something works for one person....doesn't mean that it will work well for the next. That's why it's important to use different channels, approaches and mediums (no pun intended!) for accessing the kind of evidence AND experiences that work for you.

• Ouija Boards and Spiritual Tools
• EVP (voice activated digital recording of electronic voice phenomena)
• Psychic Mediums
• Meditation

Many of these things work really well together. For example, using a digital recording device while "working" with a ouija board can be a very cool experience, and can yield amazingly empowering results.

One one hand... the ouija board planchette is moving around seemingly on it's own, and then later.....when you listen to the recording, EVP's are captured very clearly that you KNOW you didn't audibly hear while using the board.

Spooky? It can be!

But exciting? If you are genuinely interested in spirit communication... very!

Again, meditating before speaking to a psychic medium can be very effective for me as well, as does practicing meditation in general, on a daily basis prove to be a great spiritual tool for opening yourself up to realities that are closed off during ordinary consciousnesses.

And remember... one of the most important lessons I've learned from 20 years of exploration is this:
it's often equally as difficult for your loved ones to come through on THEIR side, as it is for us, to access them... on ours.

Using time tested tools and techniques like above may be controversial to some... but there is a reason they've been along for as long as they have and continue to be used.

Are You Different in the Afterlife Than You Were in Life?

Although I didn't realize it at the time, when I was five, my favorite playmate was a ghost. She was in her 40s and a mother of three and she stayed with me for several years before finally finding her way home.

I've interacted with ghosts all of my life and as an adult I began doing psychic and mediumship readings for clients.

One of the questions I'm often asked is if our personalities are the same in the afterlife as they were in life.

The answer is yes, mostly.

It depends which afterlife reality you're living.

We can stay earthbound and become a ghost, which is a person who has left their body but has not yet crossed over to the Other Side for various reasons. But this is not a wise choice.

Or we can cross over to the Other Side. Which is what most of us do. And this is the best choice.

In both cases certain parts of our personalities stay the same and certain elements change.

In the situation where someone stays earthbound, their personalities tend to become one dimensional and limited in expression. They become single-minded about their fears.

Those who choose to stay earthbound tend to do so out of dread or anxiety. Most often they're afraid of what they think will be an angry and judgmental God and they're afraid of some type of punishment or rejection.

The longer they stay here, the more afraid they usually become.

Once someone crosses over though, they have a very different experience from someone who is earthbound.

Jennifer, a client of mine who is intuitive, lost her aunt recently to an illness. Elizabeth was a terribly negative person. When she was alive it was challenging to maintain any kind of a relationship with her since she took every chance to deflate the people around her.

After she died, though, Jennifer began regularly hearing from her aunt. Immediately Jennifer noticed that her aunt had lost her negative disposition.

Even more interesting, Elizabeth apologized for her attitude and how she had treated those she loved. She told Jennifer she realized now that she didn't have to act the way she had.

Those that cross over receive immediate insight and healing that those who remain on the earthplane do not. That insight and healing helps people to release the more limiting parts of their personalities, allowing them to love and care for us in the ways that they could not when they were here.
